Started with Flash in middle school, picked up PHP at an e-commerce internship in 2012 that turned into a job. Since then, building systems across the stack: frontend to database, server to operations. Worked directly with founders and owners on what ships and what it costs to run. Based in Samsun. Outside work, mostly into neuroscience and hard sci-fi.

Technical Lead & Platform Architect - Evrim Ağacı
I am the technical lead and platform architect at Evrim Ağacı. The systems I built there serve millions of monthly readers.
Publishing & Commerce. An editorial platform with public submissions and an editor review pipeline. Native iOS and Android apps. Agora, the multi-seller marketplace I built, runs seller panels, payments, refunds, and vendor accounting.
Finance. Double-entry accounting with US S-Corp tax compliance and Form 1120-S filing. A separate settlement engine reconciles the marketplace and pays vendors out.
AI. Asynchronous LLM workflows handle translation, scheduling, Q&A, and moderation. They reach internal operations through MCP servers I wrote.
Infrastructure. A containerized service stack with high-availability MariaDB replication. Self-hosted Typesense for search and Gorse for recommendations. RabbitMQ and Centrifugo for messaging and realtime. OpenObserve for tracing and logs. KVKK and GDPR compliant.
Operations. Fraud detection, content moderation, and the internal tooling the user-operations team runs on. The codebase is held up by automated unit, integration, and browser tests.

Payments, subscriptions, and payouts for 1,500+ creators, in TRY and USD. Stripe for inbound billing. Wise, PayPal, and Payoneer for outbound payouts. One backend behind the creator panel, a Twitch extension, an OBS overlay, and a WordPress plugin.

5M+ users and 100M+ page views in year one on a League of Legends stats platform. Analytics pipeline over 20M+ matches, parallel Riot API multiplexer for live games, web and mobile clients in 8 languages. Launched on AWS, migrated to bare metal.
